Frequently Asked Questions

1. Are you a professional photographer?

Yes, it's what I do full-time, and I love it. I love artistic photography, meeting people, and travelling to different places, so it's the perfect job for me. See my other website here.

2. What style of photography do you use?

I use a combination of posed portraits and reportage style photography. If you have a particular style in mind, I'll make sure we capture it.

3. What equipment do you use?

I shoot in digital, using professional Canon equipment. I always have a second camera to allow me to quickly take different image styles, and for back-up.

I shoot in high-quality RAW colour, which means you can blow up pictures to poster size and not lose any quality. It also means I can create black and white or other versions of your favourite images.

4. Do you edit the images?

Yes. All the images are edited prior to you receiving them.

5. Can we keep all the images or do we have to pay you extra for this?

Unlike many wedding photographers I provide all the images, both high and low res, in digital format on DVD.

6. Can I get prints from the DVD?

Yes, I provide a cost-effective print service or you can use the images on the DVD to get them printed yourself.

7. Can my guests buy images?

Yes. They can view images in your private online gallery and purchase them for a competitive rate directly, saving you the hassle of getting lots of photographs printed for your guests!

8. Are you insured?

Yes, I am fully insured. I also have a network of quality photographers who can provide back-up if I am unable to attend due to illness. Thankfully, this has never happened in the many years I've been doing wedding photography!

9. Do you provide bespoke quotes?

Yes, every wedding is unique so I can provide a completely tailored quote to suit all tastes and budgets.

10. Is there a minimum booking time?

Usually, I require a minimum booking of two hours in the week and six hours on the weekend, but I am always happy to consider other options.

11. Do you need a deposit?

Yes, because I get many requests for bookings on the same day, and if you decide to cancel I need to have a deposit to cover for the loss of business. The deposit is £200.

12. What areas do you cover?

Pretty much anywhere. I'll even get on a plane to photograph weddings! Outside the Sussex area, I do charge for travel expenses.

13. Do you provide albums?

Yes, I provide a range of album options, catering to all budgets.
